Off-Piste Heliskiing La Thuile, Italy

Your personalized helicopter drop-off and off-piste skiing excursion in powder snow, between France and Italy, winter season 2026/2027!

Enjoy one or more helicopter drops* near the French-Italian border from the La Rosière ski area.

*Depending on weather conditions. With an instructor, you can enjoy 1 to 3 Heliski drops and off-piste descents tailored to your skill level, discovering new thrills in complete safety on the powder snow.

The day’s program:

• Meet in the morning at La Rosière resort, located above Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
  The instructors will provide you with safety equipment (bag with shovel, probe, and avalanche transceiver) and a short 15-minute training session.

• You will then take the La Rosière ski lifts (lift pass to be paid for locally) to reach the Petit-Saint-Bernard Pass in Italy. La Rosière belongs to the only Franco-Italian international ski area in the Northern Alps: Espace San Bernardo.
  Directly linked to La Thuile in Italy via the Petit-Saint-Bernard Pass, the Espace San Bernardo ski area boasts a dual south and north exposure, guaranteeing excellent skiing and panoramic views on both slopes. Skiing in La Rosière guarantees a combination of adventure, the Italian way of life, sunshine, and… powder snow!

• Expect a fully personalized itinerary tailored to your skill level and the current weather and snow conditions.
  Drop-off points are located on various Italian peaks: Mount Miravidi, Mount Ouille, and Pointe Lechaud.

• You have purchased Carte Neige insurance.
  You have previous off-piste skiing experience and are at least proficient in off-piste skiing.
  You must have your own skis and touring boots with skins.
  Skis must have a minimum waist width of 95 mm.

• It is mandatory to have a backpack equipped with an ABS (Airbag System), an avalanche transceiver (DVA), a shovel, and a probe. If you don’t have these items, please let me know when booking so I can reserve them for you.
