The day’s program:
- Get a change of scenery by crossing over the Col de l’Iseran.
Bonneval-sur-Arc is the antithesis of a ski resort. Passing through the listed village of L’Écot, the resort is no less appealing thanks to its mountain architecture, surrounded by steep slopes beneath impressive glaciers. - Finally, this enclave, located deep in the valley, receives significant snowfall from both France and Italy!
Departure from Val d’Isère at 8:45 am.
Ski lifts to the Pissaillas Glacier.
Skinning to the Col de l’Ouille Noire (approximately 30 minutes uphill with 60 meters of elevation gain).
Descent via various routes to the Bonneval-sur-Arc resort.
Snack break in the listed hamlet of L’Écot or at the resort.
Chairlifts to access the off-piste areas. - Return by helicopter to the La Daille landing zone in Val d’Isère.
- You have purchased Carte Neige insurance.
You have previous off-piste skiing experience and are at the required off-piste level.
You must have your own skis and touring boots with skins.
The skis must have a minimum waist width of 95 mm.
It is mandatory to have a backpack containing an avalanche transceiver (DVA), shovel, and probe.
